Romeldale CVM Batting 2oz

Romeldale CVM Batting 2oz

$15.00

This beautiful Romeldale CVM batting was produced from the fleeces of my ewes, Ghillea Anne and Lucille Baal. It was small-batch processed at a family-owned mill in Texas and carefully prepared for spinning, felting, blending, and other fiber arts. CVM batting is some of my favorite fibers to spin and is also excellent for beginners.

If you need a SE2SE passport sticker just send me a message and I will include it in your order. Please note that in order to qualify you will need to purchase 4 ounces.

Romeldale CVM sheep are a rare heritage breed listed as threatened by The Livestock Conservancy. Known for their soft, springy wool and unique colors, Romeldales produce a versatile fiber that is a joy to spin. This batting is next-to-the-skin soft and has excellent character, making it suitable for everything from yarn to felted projects.

All of my sheep are raised on our Arizona fiber farm, where I am committed to preserving and promoting this unique American breed. Every purchase helps support the conservation of Romeldale CVM sheep and the continuation of rare-breed fiber production.
